“Dr” Robert O Young: shameless cancer quack

Apologies for the messy formatting. This has been exported from Storify in

“Dr” Robert O Young, the shameless cancer quack, stooped even lower than usual yesterday.

If you are unfamiliar with Young, here is some background:
And here is a series of tweets from last night. “Dr” Young’s tweets (which are published four times each) are shortened versions of his Facebook posts.
Angelina Jolie’s decision to have an elective mastectomy was not only sad but unnecessary! Breast tissue is fatty… fb.me/29BPMcv5u
Unlike Angelina Jolie who did NOT have breast cancer and elected a radical mastectomy, Deborah Tumlinson followed… fb.me/1J5MMxNQs

  1. Young was not alone. Mike Adams (the self proclaimed “Health Ranger”) published a vile article entitled “Angelina Jolie inspires women to maim themselves by celebrating medically perverted double mastectomies”, advertising a set of CDs (“New Cancer Solutions”).

  3. Oh, just what a mess Jolie renders of herself. She has maimed her very own body
without medical justification whatsoever, then aplauded this awful
disfiguration by way of some form of turned perception of what womanhood
    is.

  4. @JJ – I would recommend editing or eliminating that post – since you can’t get to the site without “supporting” them.

  6. It’s all well and good saying he is a quack however have you had any personal experience with his therapy to make such judgment. I personally have and i can tell you what a radical change in my health i have had. I trusted the usual doctors but i just got more and more sick. Its a shame that you are so indoctrinated by the smoke and mirrors of so called modern medicine.

  7. I don’t have any personal experience with his therapy. I do know that he is not a doctor but uses the title “Dr and claims he can “reverse” cancer and diabetes (Types 1 and 2). I also know that his “New Biology” theories are utterly implausible to the point of being ridiculous. That makes him a quack.

However, I would be quite interested to hear your personal experience of Young and his “therapy” and how you feel he has been able to help you when doctors have not.

  8. “Dr” Young has the same right to call himself Dr as Gillian McKeith (exactly non) due to the qualification coming frrom an unacreditted college in the USA. He futher claims to be a research scientist.
Putting all this asside there is one simple thing I believe shows Dr young as a charlaton. He has never published any evidence of a proper trial to support his theory of over-acidification. Simple evidence would prove one way or the other but instead he sells books and supplements to the sick.

  9. i have had personal experience of Dr. Young’s new biology and he is a miracle worker but he is not God. People die in many circumstances and under the care of all sorts of doctors and physicians. Life is given and taken by God. He is not a quack because somebody died. He turned my serious health issues around in a very short space of time but the patient has to be prepared to have a total lifestyle change which is not easy..
